Back up a Touchpix gallery before its event data expires
Set a retrieval deadline based on the event creation date.
Touchpix states event details, gallery uploads, and settings are deleted six months after event creation unless an eligible storage extension applies. Make an export and confirm it before relying on the gallery as a long-term archive.
Record the creation date
Open the event record and note its creation date and displayed data-retention deadline. Put the backup check on a calendar well before that date; do not calculate from the event date if the event was created much earlier during planning.

Make and inspect a backup
Use Touchpix’s supported gallery download or export path for the event, then open a sample image from the downloaded copy. Check that the folder includes the media you expect and keep a second copy in the event’s approved storage location.

Confirm extension conditions
The help page says its one-year extension applies only to new events created while the add-on is active; older events are not extended retroactively. Verify eligibility in the current account. Do not close or allow expiry until you have verified the files independently.
