Duplicate a Touchpix event without reusing its QR or gallery

Reuse setup settings while treating the new event as separate.

Duplicating a Touchpix event can save configuration time, but the copy becomes a new event with its own QR code and gallery. Set it up as a fresh event identity, then check what did and did not carry over.

Make the copy

In the Touchpix dashboard, open Events, choose Manage Event for the source, and select Duplicate Event. Give the copy a new name and save it. Touchpix says settings and configurations copy except AI files.

Activate the new identity

Use the new event’s QR code to activate it in the Touchpix app. Do not use the source event code: each event has a distinct QR and gallery. Update the name, branding, dates, and any sharing or privacy copy that belonged to the earlier occasion.

Test the copy

Run a full demo session and confirm the new gallery and event settings are separate. Touchpix warns that major updates can interact with the event manager; if the duplicate behaves unexpectedly after an update, create a fresh event instead of repeatedly copying a possibly stale setup.
