Inside the booth
Use coloured event light as an accent without tinting every face
Separate the colourful background from a neutral, readable portrait area.
Coloured LED lighting can create a strong mood but may change rapidly and tint skin. Keep a stable neutral light on the face, then use colour behind or to one side as an accent rather than the only illumination.
Observe a full cycle
Watch the light for one complete pattern and note its brightest and darkest moments. If it sweeps across the subject, move the portrait position out of its path. Do not set exposure from a single instant in a changing sequence.
Build two zones
Place a steady white source near the camera and let the coloured light fall on the background. Take a test with the subject in final position. If the face still shifts colour, turn the subject away from the LED or increase distance from the coloured source.
Review repeated frames
Compare skin and backdrop across several captures. If the face changes hue, simplify the lighting or pause the moving effect during portraits. A good result preserves a recognisable skin tone while leaving visible colour in the scene; avoid trying to repair every frame with separate heavy edits.
