Use HALO preflight to choose a safe booth launch mode

Check camera permissions and device warnings before locking into guest use.

A Simple Booth preset launches through the HALO app’s preflight screen. Use that screen to catch permission and storage problems before selecting Booth Mode, which is intended to keep participants inside the experience.

Open the matching app

Sign in to HALO, not Simple Booth Classic, because presets are tied to the HALO app. From the preset list, either quick-launch a synced preset or open it first to review its settings, then tap Launch.

Review preflight

Grant the required camera permission and read the displayed warnings, Wi-Fi status, and storage reminders. Choose Test Mode while validating the setup so you can return to settings easily. Choose Booth Mode only after the capture and share path passes a test.

Protect the running station

For a public event, use Guided Access if you need to keep participants from leaving Booth Mode. Take a test image and verify its gallery or print result before the queue begins. If you change settings online, sync them in Mission Control and confirm the change took effect.
