Do photo strip templates need camera access?
Existing-photo composition and live capture are different flows.
You can arrange photographs you already have without opening a camera. Check which feature you are using before granting a device permission.
Identify the feature
Flashroom’s web templates let you select existing JPEG, PNG or WebP pictures through a file picker. That composition flow does not need a webcam. The Flashroom iPhone app has a separate live photo-booth capture flow and requests the device permissions relevant to that feature.

Use the intended input
Choose a compatible picture file in the editor rather than searching for a webcam control. Inspect the crop in every window. If a browser or another website requests camera access unexpectedly, check the destination and feature before responding; permission prompts are not interchangeable between sites.
Keep permission and output checks separate
After composition, download and open the finished PNG. A camera permission setting does not decide whether that exported file contains the correct pictures. When troubleshooting, describe whether the failure involves file selection, live capture or download, so the next step addresses the actual flow.
