Online photo booth: camera or photo strip maker?
Understand webcam booths and upload-based strip makers, and arrange your saved pictures with our browser print room.
An online photo booth may use your webcam, arrange existing photographs or accept uploads for processing. First identify which task the page performs. “Free” is useful only if the finished file you need can be saved without a surprise payment or a watermark you did not expect.
Choose a free photo booth template and add your pictures
Make a strip here from saved pictures
The Flashroom print room is an upload-based editor: choose a design, add JPEG, PNG or WebP pictures, then download one composed PNG. A blank SVG is also available. The web editor currently does not capture pictures through your webcam.
If you want a fresh four-picture camera session, try Flashroom on iPhone. If you want browser camera capture, check that the site you choose actually supports that function before granting camera permission.
Choose the workflow before choosing a style
A webcam booth is useful when you are ready to pose now. An upload editor is useful when the photographs already exist. A blank template is useful when you want to finish the composition in another design application. Those are three different tasks, even when all three pages use the words “online photo booth”.
Check the promised output
Look for the number of captures, layout, download format and any watermark or size limits. Pixlery’s own page describes a free countdown camera booth with strip downloads. That is a supplier description, not a hands-on comparison or a claim that every online booth has the same features.

Camera permission is one separate step
Chrome documents camera permissions for each website as well as relevant computer settings. A blocked camera can prevent live capture while an upload tool continues working. Read the site’s permission request and confirm the correct camera is selected. Allowing capture does not tell you whether photographs are stored locally or uploaded.

Make a complete test strip
Frame the camera, run the countdown and download the result. Open that saved file outside the website. Check that all frames are present and that the layout is not merely a small preview screenshot. If printing matters, check its pixel dimensions against your intended paper size.
For an upload-based maker, start with copies of the photographs. Crop each face in its own slot and leave the originals unchanged. Do not assume a webcam booth also accepts older images.
Understand the limits
A remote shared session, a camera booth and a collage editor are different products. Search “long-distance photo booth” if two people must join the same room; verify that feature explicitly. Review upload, storage and deletion information before using private photographs. When a download is available, keep your own copy rather than treating a temporary browser tab or gallery link as permanent storage.
