Photo booth on iPhone: make a four-picture strip
Set up an iPhone photo booth, take four portraits in Flashroom and choose between a strip and a contact sheet.
An iPhone can be the camera for a small photo booth at home. Start with the photograph rather than the accessories: decide how many people should fit and whether you want four separate frames, a finished strip or a video. Then build the simplest setup around that output.

Try the eight-booth route in Flashroom
Choose one of Flashroom’s eight original cabinets before your session. Disco ’78 has warm amber colour; Flash ’96 gives a colour-flash strip; Tokyo ’02 has a pastel contact sheet. Paris ’64 and Berlin Noir offer different black-and-white moods.
Take four portraits with a simple change between them. The booth’s default output is a strip or contact sheet: Instant ’98 and Pop ’67 use contact sheets, while Brighton ’82 returns to the classic strip. Save the result you want to keep before setting up another session.
If you already have four photographs
Use the website’s print room to arrange saved pictures instead of retaking them. It accepts JPEG, PNG and WebP uploads and exports a composed PNG. That browser workflow is separate from the live camera session in the iPhone app.
Fix the camera before inviting people in
Use a secure support on a stable surface. Frame a test at the height people will actually use, and check the edges for mirrors, furniture and passing guests. Leave space above heads and beside shoulders. Clean the lens and look at the saved test image; the preview alone cannot show every crop.
Choose the capture sequence
A phone camera plus a timer can make individual portraits. A dedicated booth app can assemble a sequence and style its output. In Flashroom, the eight booth looks offer different visual moods; their names are creative design references. Check the installed version for the controls and purchase options available on your device.

Make the four frames work together
Agree on a small sequence before pressing start: face the lens, look at each other, react, then finish with a wave. Keep feet or the chair in the same place so faces do not wander out of the layout. Pause between attempts to see the saved result and adjust the framing once, rather than moving the camera after every exposure.
Save and print a test early
Save the full finished image before trying a social upload. Check whether the export is a narrow strip or a sheet with several frames. For printing, choose the intended physical dimensions and place the file on matching paper. For a party, make sure the device has enough space and power for the evening; give one person responsibility for the setup and the final files.
