A 2×6-inch strip is a familiar event format, but not every photobooth produces that size. Measure a physical strip or check the chosen template before ordering a frame. Digital proportions, paper dimensions and printer settings all need to agree.

Calculate your print dimensions.

Enter the finished paper size and a target pixels-per-inch value. Nothing is uploaded.

Use positive dimensions up to 60 inches / 1,524 mm, and 50–1,200 pixels per inch. This is a size calculation, not an image upscaler.

The useful dimensions

Two inches by six inches equals 50.8 × 152.4 millimetres, with a 1:3 aspect ratio. At 300 pixels per inch, a file matching that size is 600 × 1800 pixels. At 200 pixels per inch it is 400 × 1200. These are arithmetic targets, not a guarantee of how sharp a particular camera file will look.

A 4×6-inch sheet at 300 pixels per inch is 1200 × 1800 pixels. Two 2×6 strips can sit side by side on that sheet when the design and print workflow support it.

Check what the printer supports

DNP lists 2×6 and 4×6 among supported DS620 formats. Its Hot Folder Print documentation describes the image arrangement needed for paired strips. That is a particular printer workflow; a home printer or photo lab may instead need a normal sheet file.

Why the same file prints at different sizes

A pixel count alone does not set a universal physical size. The print dialog may scale the image to the paper or trim it to fill a different ratio. A 600×1800 file printed six inches tall has 300 pixels per inch; printed twelve inches tall it has 150. Changing a resolution label without adding genuine detail does not create a sharper photograph.

Measure before buying

For an existing print, measure the full paper including its borders. For a new design, choose the sheet size, image slots and cut line before placing text. Leave important faces and lettering away from edges. Make one physical proof at the intended scale, check it with a ruler and keep that setting for the final batch. The calculator below helps with dimensions; the test print confirms the actual workflow.
