Inside the booth
Make a profile-to-front portrait strip
Use a small turn as the story between frames.
A turn of the head can create a clear sequence without props. Plan the endpoints and keep the movement comfortable.
Choose four readable positions
Try a gentle side view, a smaller turn, a near-front view and a direct portrait. Adjust the idea to the sitter rather than demanding an exact angle. Keep their shoulders relaxed and check that the profile still fits inside the narrow picture window.
Move between captures
Learn the system’s timing with a practice session. Settle into each position rather than turning rapidly through the exposure. Keep enough space around the face so a nose or hairstyle does not disappear against the edge. Use the same lighting arrangement to make the changing direction readable.
Read the strip in order
Look at the complete sequence rather than choosing only the most conventional face. Decide whether the movement progresses clearly and whether a missing or blurred frame interrupts it. Keep the original order when making a rearranged copy so the captured sequence remains available later.
