Handle a caption correction after the event

Locate the approved photograph
Confirm the strip identifier and the exact new wording with the requester. Work from the best retained source, keeping the original delivery record. If the file is flattened and cannot be edited cleanly, explain the available options instead of pretending the caption can always be replaced without visible changes.
Verify and hand over
Open the corrected export and inspect the caption at its final size. Label it as a replacement and explain which earlier copy it supersedes. Avoid overwriting unrelated files or distributing someone else’s strip during the correction. Keep the change connected to the session record.
