Events & occasions
Check names before putting them on a strip
Let the person confirm the caption.
A personalised caption becomes a better keepsake when its spelling is checked before export.
Ask for the preferred wording
Let the person enter or spell their own name and confirm accents or punctuation. A group may prefer an occasion rather than individual names. Do not copy a name from a public guest list without checking whether it belongs on the portrait. Keep a no-name caption available.
Inspect the actual output
Check the caption at its final size and confirm that it fits without covering faces. Export one example after changing the wording. If a correction is needed, identify the replacement clearly so a helper does not distribute both versions. Keep private event details out of filenames used for public delivery.
