Hand a DIY photobooth over to a helper
Teach the complete guest journey with one supervised rehearsal.
A friend can help the booth run smoothly if the instructions cover more than the start button. Give them a real practice session and a short route for dealing with ordinary failures.
Demonstrate one whole session
Our rehearsal covers welcoming the group, checking the crop, starting capture, reviewing the saved strip and delivering the intended file or print. Let the helper repeat the process while you observe. Use expendable test pictures rather than guests’ private portraits as the training material.
Write three decision rules
Our sample rules are: pause if a person cannot fit comfortably; do not publish a portrait without the agreed permission; and ask the operator if export or printing fails twice. Adapt the limits to the actual setup. A helper should not need to improvise account access or buy software during an event.
Make the finish unambiguous
Show where the completed result appears and how the next group begins. Flashroom’s capture countdown does not train the helper in your printer or delivery arrangement. Keep a plain backup plan and a private contact route so guests receive a clear answer if the setup stops working.
