Inside the booth
A five-minute portrait check before a party
Test the actual route from camera to keepsake.
A booth can look ready while its exported pictures are not. A short rehearsal should follow the same path guests will use.
Take a complete sample
Use the actual camera, countdown, seating and lighting. Include a representative face and outfit, then finish a full strip rather than a single preview. Label the session as a test so it cannot be confused with guest output when files are collected later.
Inspect the final destination
Open the exported file and, if printing, produce one real proof. Check photo order, crop, caption and physical scale. Test the sharing route with another device where useful. A working capture screen does not prove that the download, printer or recipient received a complete portrait.
Write a short handover
Keep the working settings and a sample file for the helper. Record the fallback when a device, printer or connection fails. Avoid changing several settings after the proof without repeating the check. A brief verified route is more useful during the event than a long untested equipment list.
