Inside the booth

A good rehearsal becomes more useful when you can repeat it. A sample-shot sheet records the practical arrangement behind a successful strip and the limits you noticed during testing.

Record the arrangement

Our sheet lists device, capture app, support height, approximate subject distance, light position, backdrop and final layout. Include a setup photograph without personal details in the background. Separate capture settings from changes made later in the print software.

Keep three example tests

Save a neutral portrait, the widest group pose and a picture with the main prop. Note whether every person remains inside the final crop. Where you use native iPhone exposure controls, record the settings actually used; Apple’s guide explains those controls but cannot establish a third-party app’s behaviour.

Evidence: Product documentation

Run a repeat check

At the next session, compare one fresh test with the sheet. Inspect the saved output, not only the camera preview. If furniture, light or device changes, revise the sheet rather than keeping an obsolete recipe. Include the date of the successful test so an old configuration is not mistaken for the current one.
