A camera may support tethering over one connection type but not another. Before designing a booth around LUMIX Tether, verify the exact body and whether its supported route is USB, wired network, or Wi-Fi.

Start with the current table

Open Panasonic’s LUMIX Tether download and support page and check the latest app version, operating system, and supported camera list. Find your exact model and read the notes about the permitted connection method; do not infer support from a similar model name.

Choose a single connection route

Use the listed USB or network path and follow the camera’s own menu steps. Panasonic’s page calls out camera-specific conditions and notes that some macOS releases have USB multi-connection limitations, so avoid adding a hub or second camera until a one-camera test works.

Prove it before event day

Connect the body, confirm live view or capture controls appear, then take and open one test image on the computer. Record the tested app version, OS, body, and cable/network method. The download page is a compatibility source, not a guarantee that every camera function is available in your intended booth workflow.
