Digital booths
Set up LumaShare offline QR delivery on a private Wi-Fi network
Let guests receive captured media locally when venue internet is unreliable.
LumaShare’s offline QR flow uses a local network and two guest scans. It avoids dependence on internet service for the download itself, but it requires the booth app, LumaShare, and guest phones to join the same private network.
Build the local network
Use a router or supported hotspot that the booth, LumaShare device, and guest phones can join. LumaSoft cautions that venue Wi-Fi often isolates devices, so test with your own network rather than assuming the venue network allows local communication.

Enable both scans
In LumaShare Settings > Sharing Settings, turn on Offline QR Code and enter the network name, security type, and password. Guests scan one QR to join Wi-Fi and a second to receive their selected photo or video. Explain the two-step join at the kiosk.

Test and reconcile
Run a complete test with a separate phone, including opening the received media. Confirm capture and printing still work if internet is absent. When internet returns, the app resumes pending SMS, email, and other online updates. This local QR path is a share method, not a backup of the original capture folder.
