Frame a Canon booth portrait from EOS Utility Live View
Use the tether preview to verify crop and focus before a guest session.
EOS Utility Remote Live View lets an operator inspect composition on a larger computer display and trigger a capture. Use it as a setup check for a fixed booth frame, then verify that the saved photo matches the preview crop.
Connect and open Remote Live View
Connect the supported camera and start Remote Live View Shooting in EOS Utility. Confirm live view is enabled and that the camera exposure settings are visible. Use the preview to place the face, shoulders, and expected group positions inside the intended strip crop.

Set focus deliberately
Choose the documented autofocus or manual-focus control for the connected body. If exposure simulation is available and useful, compare the preview against the actual booth lighting; do not judge exposure from monitor brightness alone.

Capture a proof frame
Take one test image from EOS Utility and open the resulting file. Check focus, headroom, and any difference between the on-screen preview and delivered crop. The manual notes features vary by camera and remote shooting mode, so confirm controls on your model before the event.
