Package linked photos before moving a Photoshop booth template
Collect linked Smart Object files so the PSD can be opened on a different computer.
A linked Photoshop Smart Object can update from its source file, but the link depends on that asset remaining available across folders. Before moving a booth template, use Photoshop’s package command and test the resulting folder carefully on the destination computer for safe handoff.
Review linked layers
Check the Layers panel for linked Smart Objects and note their filenames. Save the PSD, then choose File → Package to gather the linked files with the document. Do not rename or move a source image while the PSD is open.

Move the package
Copy the generated folder as a unit, preserving its directory structure. Keep the original project folder until the package has been tested; the PSD alone may not include linked source images.

Open on destination
Open the packaged PSD from its new location and check that each portrait appears without a missing-link warning. Update a test link only if intended, then save the destination copy under a clear handoff name.
