Make & keep
Create a smaller Photoshop share copy without changing the PSD master
Use Export As for a resized JPEG or PNG while preserving the layered source.
A guest share may need a smaller file than the print master, especially for a messaging or gallery upload. Photoshop’s Export As dialog can produce alternate formats and sizes. Keep the layered PSD intact, choose a new destination filename, and inspect the exported dimensions before sending it.
Keep the master
Save the working document as a PSD before exporting. Avoid flattening the only copy: layers, masks, and Smart Objects are useful if a caption or crop needs revision.

Check the output
Reopen the exported image and confirm its pixel dimensions, crop, and background. Compare the face and small text with the PSD. If the export appears too soft or clipped, return to the master and revise the export settings.
