Inside the booth
Pair a portrait strip with a detail photograph
Add context without pretending the detail came from the booth.
A ticket, room or object photograph can explain an occasion beside the portrait.
Keep the sources distinct
Capture the contextual detail separately and note when and where it was made. Do not insert it into an archival strip as though it were one of the original booth frames. Use a larger page with separate areas for the portrait and the detail, keeping both readable.
Write a factual link
Explain how the images relate and mark uncertainty if the connection is inferred. Keep independent master files and source records. A designed page can tell a coherent story while preserving the difference between a photobooth session and a later photograph made to explain it.
