Make & keep
Put crop marks around a photo strip sheet
Keep cutting guides outside the finished image.
A cutting guide should help assembly without leaving black marks on the keepsake.
Build a measured proof
Place strips at the intended size and add guides outside each finished boundary. Leave enough cutting space and account for the printer’s actual margins. Do not draw the guides across a portrait or caption. Use a plain-paper proof to check the sheet before choosing final media.
Measure before cutting the batch
Print one final-material sample and check its scale. Test the cutting sequence with suitable equipment used according to its instructions. Keep the uncut proof and a strip-only export. If marks remain on the finished border, adjust the layout rather than cutting into faces to hide them.
