Make & keep
Print two photo strips on one sheet and cut them evenly
A measured layout makes a cleaner pair than an improvised cut.
Two matching strips on one sheet can give each person a keepsake. Plan the division before printing so one copy does not inherit all the border while the other loses a face.
Lay out a worked pair
Our 4 by 6-inch sheet is split into two 2 by 6-inch columns. At a chosen 300 pixels per inch, that becomes a 1200 by 1800-pixel sheet with a division at 600 pixels. Keep each strip’s important content away from the intended cut and measure the actual proof.
Check machine support
DNP’s documentation distinguishes supported two-inch cut combinations by printer and media. A 4 by 6-inch source sheet alone does not mean every printer can cut it automatically. Check the device, loaded media, driver and workflow rather than assuming the paper’s dimensions establish compatibility.
Evidence: Manufacturer documentation
Make one physical test
Inspect both halves for matching borders, readable captions and face placement. If cutting manually, use a stable suitable cutter and keep the operation separate from guest handling. Keep the uncut digital sheet and a single-strip copy, so later printing does not require guessing how the original pair was arranged.
