Make & keep
Make a tiny zine from a photo strip story
Let the portrait sequence guide the pages.
A small folded booklet can turn four frames into a short narrative.
Plan the reading order
Make a blank folded mock-up and number its pages before arranging images. Give each portrait a page or pair of pages and add a brief line of original text. Check the order by physically turning the mock-up; the printing order on a flat sheet can differ from the reading order.
Protect the pictures
Use copies and keep important originals intact. Print one proof before a batch and check orientation, fold position and readable type. Save both the booklet layout and the strip-only file. Clearly label invented dialogue as creative text rather than a historical quotation from the people pictured.
