Make & keep
Put a photo strip inside a folded card
Plan the fold around the picture.
A portrait sequence can sit inside a greeting card without being cut by its crease.
Make a plain mock-up
Fold spare paper to the intended finished size and mark the available picture area. Keep the strip away from the crease and leave room for a handwritten message. Check the card closed and open. A layout that looks spacious on a flat screen can become cramped when half the page folds away.
Print and assemble a copy
Use a reproduction rather than folding an irreplaceable original. Inspect the actual print for complete borders and caption. If mounting a separate strip, choose a method suitable for your intended keepsake and avoid adhesive across the portrait. Keep the original file and a record of the finished card size.
