Use table numbers without putting guests on display
Keep an event organiser’s label separate from a public portrait.
A table number can help organise files, but it may not belong on the final keepsake.
Decide the purpose
Ask whether the label is for delivery, a guest-book arrangement or the visible caption. Keep operational identifiers separate from public wording when possible. Confirm the event’s actual seating scheme and allow guests who move tables to receive their own portrait without confusion.
Check the final audience
Inspect both the filename and visible caption before public sharing. Avoid including unnecessary guest-list details. A neutral session identifier may be enough for retrieval. Keep the mapping private if it connects portraits to personal information supplied for event administration.
