Plan a guest gallery’s audience before adding portraits

Collection, delivery and publication are three separate decisions.

A shared gallery can be convenient, but its audience should be defined before guests contribute. Receiving a private copy of a strip is different from making it visible to everyone at the event or the wider internet.

Describe the proposed audience

Our planning sheet states who can see the gallery, how access is controlled, how long it will remain and who handles removal requests. Verify the chosen service’s actual settings. A hard-to-guess link is not automatically an authenticated private gallery.

Give a separate publication choice

Guests should understand whether the organiser keeps a copy and whether it will appear in a display. Offer a clear way to keep a portrait private. Do not assume that standing in front of the camera expresses agreement to every later use of the picture.

Keep product claims precise

Flashroom provides the portrait workflow described in its listing. This gallery plan does not claim the app supplies hosting, access control or automated deletion. If you use another service, test its viewing and removal behaviour with sample pictures before adding guests’ portraits.
