Get the host’s approval on one complete sample
Review the experience before the guests arrive.
A background preview cannot show whether the finished portrait and handoff work.
Run a realistic session
Use the actual camera, layout, caption and output method. Include a face in the sample and test a full print or download. Ask the host to check names, framing and delivery wording. Record the approved configuration so helpers do not choose a different design halfway through the evening.
Keep the sample identifiable
Mark it as a test and store it away from guest portraits. If a configuration changes, check a new complete output. Approval describes the tested setup, not every possible later change. Keep a short note of what the host actually agreed to.
