Explain a guest gallery’s closing date
Make the download window clear before access ends.
A temporary gallery should not leave guests assuming their only copy is permanently stored there.
State the practical deadline
Use an unambiguous date and time zone if relevant. Explain how guests save their own copy and what happens to access afterward. Do not invent a retention promise for a third-party service; check the actual arrangement and distinguish access expiry from deletion of every provider backup.
Test saving a portrait
Open a gallery as a guest and save a readable export. Include a contact route for missing or incorrect files. Remind guests through the host’s authorised event communication if that is part of the plan. Keep a private handoff record, avoiding a public list of who viewed or downloaded portraits.
