A support can hold a phone upright and still move when someone taps it. Test the complete interaction before inviting guests into the frame.

Check the physical setup

Use a stable support suitable for the device. Check that it cannot topple onto a person and that cables do not create a trip route. Position it where the intended camera remains uncovered. Avoid balancing the phone on a precarious stack simply because it gives the right height.

Try the real action

Start a test using the same controls guests will use. Watch whether a tap changes the angle or crop. If a timer is available in the chosen capture flow, use its supported instructions and allow time to settle. Apple’s camera guide documents tools for its own Camera app; other apps can differ.

Evidence: Product documentation

Recheck the delivered frame

Open the completed sample and inspect sharpness as well as composition. A stand that seems steady at rest may still shift during capture. Keep the successful setup as a reference, and retest after changing the phone case, support position or charging cable arrangement.
