Digital booths
Trigger a digiCamControl test capture from its command interface
Use the documented command path to test a fixed filename and folder.
For a custom booth controller, digiCamControl’s command system can set a session folder and filename template and request a capture. Validate the complete flow with a test image before wiring it to another device.
Prepare a test session
In digiCamControl, create a dedicated test session and choose a writable folder. Use a temporary filename pattern so repeated tests do not overwrite the same file. The command guide supports the capture operation with an optional filename and shows session folder/template examples.

Issue one command
Use the product’s documented Script Execution or Remote Utility command route, such as setting the session folder and then setting the filename template before calling capture. The guide also exposes a lastcaptured query, which can be used by a controller to wait until capture is no longer in progress.

Verify and contain
Confirm that exactly one expected file appears and opens correctly. Test a second command and check the counter behavior. The command syntax is Windows-oriented in the examples; adapt only through the documented interface for your installed version, and do not expose a remote-control endpoint to an untrusted network.
