Two represented people, one catalogue object.

A second Prévert record names both Pierre and Jacques in the same Photomaton portrait.

The shared portrait

The Centre Pompidou records a gelatin silver print from around 1929 measuring 21.2 × 3.8 cm. Its inventory number is AM 2003-288 (4), distinct from Jacques’s individual strip. The catalogue names both brothers as represented people and attributes the object to PHOTOMATON.

Evidence: Collection record

Read a pair as a pair

Our viewing suggestion is to compare the people’s spacing and attention across the linked sequence before isolating a single face. That is an interpretation exercise, not a documented account of their conversation. Preserve both names and the exact object reference in any research note.
