Offer photobooth poses with optional movement

Let the portrait work for a guest who prefers to stay still.

A shared sequence does not require every guest to move in the same way. A flexible prompt leaves room for different comfort, reach and preferences without making one person the exception the whole group must discuss.

Build a still version first

Our base sequence uses a comfortable camera-facing portrait with a small change of gaze or expression if wanted. Add a wave or a turn as an option. Avoid instructions that require standing, lifting someone, reaching overhead or balancing on an improvised seat.

Test the space with the people using it

Check the real approach, sitting position and final crop. Let the guest decide what is comfortable and ask before moving their equipment or touching them to arrange the pose. Keep a clear route to leave the photo area.

Keep the invitation simple

A prompt can say: stay still, change your gaze, or make a small gesture—choose what feels comfortable. Flashroom’s four-photo format holds the sequence together; matching movements are not a requirement of a good keepsake. Review the picture with the guest rather than assuming the most animated frame is their preferred one.
