Make & keep
Test textured paper for a digital photo strip
Judge fine facial detail on an actual proof.
A textured surface changes the viewing experience and may not suit every tiny portrait.
Check printer compatibility
Choose paper approved for your printer and follow its handling and settings guidance. Print one strip containing faces, dark areas and small text. Compare it with a smoother compatible paper at the same output size. Do not assume an attractive paper sample will preserve every detail in a narrow portrait window.
Keep the result documented
Record the paper and settings used for the approved proof. Keep the master image separate from any adjustment made for that output. If ordering from a lab, ask for a sample or clear specification rather than promising guests a particular feel based only on a screen preview.
