A downloaded photo strip will not open
Separate an incomplete download from an unsupported format.
The editor showed a finished portrait, but the downloaded file refuses to open. Keep the source pictures while checking where the failure happened.
Check the actual file
Locate the downloaded file rather than an image in the browser history. Check that its size is not zero and that the download has finished. Make another export with a short, ordinary filename. Open that copy in a second image viewer before changing the original photographs.
Check the format
A file extension identifies an expected format; it does not repair damaged contents. Our web editor exports PNG, while a blank layout downloads as SVG. Those are different deliverables. If an application rejects SVG, try the finished PNG rather than renaming the SVG file.

Record a useful failure
Write down the browser, device, filename and the exact error. Test with a replaceable picture if you contact support; private portraits are not normally needed to report a download problem. Keep a working export outside the editor before closing the page.
