Keep a themed booth caption readable
Let atmosphere support the portrait rather than overwhelm it.
A dramatic typeface can be attractive at poster size and hard to read on a strip.
Test the smallest output
View the caption on the actual exported strip and print a proof if printing is planned. Check mixed-case names, dates and longer phrases. Use a simpler type treatment if decorative lettering obscures them. The final face and caption should remain the centre of the keepsake.
Put long wording elsewhere
Move a long quotation or event description to a nearby sign or guest-book page. Keep the strip’s caption brief enough to read. Confirm the wording with the host and preserve the tested version; resizing a long title at the last moment often changes its legibility.
