Inside the booth

Reset a DIY booth between guests

Preserve a working arrangement without keeping the previous person’s data on display.

A short reset helps the next guest begin comfortably. Include the physical setup and the visible screen, not only the camera position.

Check the scene

Look at the support, seat, backdrop and cables. Restore the verified baseline where needed and remove left-behind props without discarding personal belongings. Keep a labelled setup sample for reference. Retest if equipment moved enough to change the crop, rather than assuming an approximate reset is identical.

Clear the visible handoff

Ensure the previous guest’s portrait or contact information is not unnecessarily displayed to the next participant. Follow the chosen system’s actual data controls. For the local web editor, a new page session clears its working composition; downloaded copies remain in their chosen device folders.

Evidence: Product record

Give the next guest a choice

Explain the capture and delivery route briefly. Let them choose whether to participate and where a copy goes. Keep the reset routine short enough to repeat reliably. A clean screen and familiar crop make a better starting point than a rushed queue with unclear sharing expectations.
