Set up a photo strip pickup table
Keep finished prints separate from equipment and drinks.
Printing is only half the handoff; guests also need to find the right strip without damaging someone else’s picture.
Define the pickup route
Place a clear pickup area away from hot equipment, drinks and the capture position. Keep it reachable without crossing the queue. Use a sample strip to explain the output and allow room for finished prints. Follow the printer’s handling instructions rather than stacking newly produced photographs indiscriminately.
Keep ownership understandable
Ask the helper to hand over prints directly when possible. Avoid publicly labelling them with unnecessary personal information. At the end, keep unclaimed portraits out of general rubbish or a publicly browsable pile. Agree with the host how remaining prints will be returned or handled.
