Test pens for a photobooth guest book
Try the materials before guests sign the final pages.
A guest book needs a writing surface that works with the pen and page design you have chosen.
Use an expendable sample
Test the pen on spare material from the same book or mounting system. Check drying, smearing and visibility under the venue light. Write beside the portrait rather than across an original photographic surface. Keep drinks away and allow guests enough room to rest the book comfortably.
Prepare an easy alternative
Provide spare note cards if the bound page is awkward to use. Keep the message and strip identifier connected without adhesive over the image. For a lasting collection, choose appropriate storage materials and preserve a digital record after the event; a successful pen test alone does not establish archival permanence.
