Make & keep
Export only the finished Inkscape page as a PNG
Choose the Page export area so off-page notes and spare elements stay out of the file.
A design may contain spare portraits, color swatches, or labels beyond its page boundary. Exporting the drawing can include those objects. Use the page area for the final print or share image, then inspect the PNG to catch a wrong export-area selection. The page boundary is the frame for delivery, so confirm every intended detail fits inside it before exporting.
Open export
Choose File → Export PNG Image. In the export area choices, select Page to include only the contents inside the document page. Drawing includes all drawn objects, while Selection exports the selected objects.

Set output dimensions
Enter the desired pixel size or resolution and give the export a new filename. Check that the page contains the full print design and that no intended caption sits just outside the border.

Verify the PNG
Open the exported file separately and inspect all four edges. If the background appears transparent but should be white, change the page background alpha in Document Properties before exporting again.
