Track paper processed through a working bath
Use the product’s capacity guidance.
An active-looking tray does not tell you how much usable capacity remains.
Record the specified limit
Read the current technical sheet for the prepared concentration and intended material. Record the bath volume and relevant usage measure. The RAPID FIXER sheet provides material-specific guidance; do not treat film and paper capacities as interchangeable or copy a limit from a different chemical.
Evidence: Technical data sheet
Keep a running count
Log the sheets or area processed in the units the instructions use. Include tests as well as successful prints. Check any other limits on storage or working life. If the bath’s history is unknown, resolve the uncertainty before relying on it for important work.
