Show live view and strip progress on a Darkroom Booth screen

Arrange a guest-facing screen so visitors can see both framing and sequence progress.

Darkroom Booth’s screen designer can combine a live-view window with a photo-strip preview. This makes the guest interface explain what the camera sees and how many frames remain, while the final print layout stays a separate design task.

Add the two screen elements

Open the screen designer for the event screen. Add a Liveview Window and position it where guests can see their framing. Add image nodes for the photo-strip preview so captured frames populate the visual strip as the session progresses.

Arrange for legibility

Resize the live view and strip preview so neither covers the countdown or guest instructions. Keep the preview large enough to make frame progress obvious, but do not let it dominate the portrait image. Use the designer’s alignment, order, and grid tools to refine placement.

Run a complete proof

Start a test session and watch the preview update after each exposure. Confirm the live-view window shows the camera feed and the strip preview fills in the correct order. Then inspect the exported or printed layout separately; the screen designer preview is not proof that the final print is sized or cropped correctly.
