Darkroom Booth’s Booth Control can expose booth functions to another device on the same wireless network. Set it up as an operator tool before the event and keep it on a trusted local network, since the control page may offer kiosk and booth actions.

Enable the control page

In Global Settings, open Booth Control and enable it. The help guide says the slideshow must also be enabled; if you do not plan to show a slideshow at the event, use the documented Generate to disk option. Note the IP address shown by the Booth Control settings.

Connect the second device

Join the phone or tablet to the same network as the booth computer. In its browser, enter the displayed IP address followed by the documented menu path. Check that the menu loads before guests arrive; venue networks may isolate devices even when both show Wi-Fi bars.

Test the operator task

Try only the functions you intend to use, such as viewing the slideshow or checking booth stats. Darkroom labels Photo Control as work in progress in its guide, so do not depend on it for critical cancellation or live review. Keep the station computer accessible for recovery.
