Inside the booth
Check a phone lens before a photobooth session
A replaceable test helps distinguish haze from a chosen effect.
A soft glow can be atmospheric or an unwanted smear. Before changing the entire lighting setup, examine the camera and make a clear comparison.
Look at the camera area
Check whether the case, a protective accessory or a visible mark covers the selected lens. Follow the device manufacturer’s cleaning guidance rather than using household solvents or abrasive materials. Keep the phone secure and avoid touching the lens again while arranging the support.
Make a matched test
Photograph the same face or harmless test object before and after the check. Keep the light and camera position similar. Look at bright edges and fine detail. If the haze remains, investigate the light source and any selected creative effect instead of repeatedly polishing the device.
Keep a deliberate look
Choose atmospheric softness only after seeing a clear baseline. Save the original picture when applying an effect. A dirty lens and a designed soft treatment can look related, but they offer different control over the final portrait and may affect every guest’s image differently.
