Where to find Photoautomat booths in Berlin
Read the operator’s location list and distinguish outdoor machines from venue access.
Photoautomat publishes a Berlin location list with different settings and access arrangements. Use it to choose a destination, then verify the details for your visit. A street booth and a machine inside a museum do not necessarily have the same opening or entry conditions.
A few documented starting points
On 2 October 2026, the operator listed a Falkensteinstraße entry at Schlesische Straße 41, Trabi World at Zimmerstraße 97, and C/O Berlin at Hardenbergstraße 22–24. Its C/O entry identifies the booth as inside the exhibition area and requiring a ticket. Review the operator’s full list for updates and other locations.

Read the access note, not just the pin
A map marker can show a destination without explaining which entrance or part of the venue contains the booth. Check the location’s access note and the venue’s visitor information. A street location may be listed differently from a club or garden whose opening depends on the surrounding venue.
For a special journey, confirm availability. We have not visited every machine or tested their current operating state.
Choose the strip you want
Check the output format and the number of exposures at the machine. The operator’s list distinguishes some unusual formats; do not assume every location prints an identical strip. If the paper’s shape matters for an album or frame, measure the finished result before ordering a mount.
Plan a short sequence with your companion and leave space around faces. The camera’s fixed position gives small changes in expression room to become the story.
Keep an honest record

Store the original flat, make a clear digital copy and keep the location note with it. The paper and the place can both become part of the memory without turning an old address into a permanent guarantee.
