Inside the booth
Choose one dominant light source for a consistent four-frame strip
Prevent a warm lamp and cool window from changing colour between frames.
Mixed light can make one half of a face warm and the other cool. Before changing camera settings, choose which light should dominate and reduce the other source so the strip shares one colour direction.
Identify both sources
Take a test with the room as found. Compare a neutral object near the face and note whether the window and lamp produce different colours. Turn the subject so one source lights the face more evenly.
Reduce the weaker source
Close a curtain, switch off a nearby bulb or move the subject farther from the lamp. If the room must keep both sources, lock white balance rather than letting it change frame by frame. Keep the same lighting for the complete sequence.
Check the saved images
View all four frames together under the same display setting. If the skin colour changes from frame to frame, repeat after simplifying the lights. Avoid a global edit that neutralises one side while pushing the other farther from natural colour.
