Inside the booth
Use a flower as a small portrait accent
Keep the face and the prop in balance.
A single flower can give a sequence a theme without building a complicated set.
Choose a comfortable prop
Use a safe, suitable item that the participant is happy to handle. Keep stems, water and loose material away from equipment. Test a position below or beside the face instead of covering the eyes. Make the prop optional and offer the same portrait route without it.
Vary one position
Try the flower at one side, closer to the centre and back again while the sitter stays comfortable. Review the whole strip for distracting overlap. A small change is enough; do not turn the exercise into an elaborate performance that consumes the available capture time.
