Make & keep
Catalogue an unidentified photobooth portrait
Make an unknown face findable without inventing a name.
An unidentified portrait is still a useful collection item when its observable details are recorded clearly.
Describe what is visible
Record the number of people, frame order, visible clothing and any printed or handwritten text. Separate these observations from possible identities. Give the strip an identifier so a relative can refer to the exact image. Avoid treating a hairstyle or familiar smile as proof of a particular person.
Invite evidence, not certainty
Share a copy with an appropriate private audience and ask what supports an identification. Note who supplied each answer and when. Compare other labelled photographs if available. Keep the original description and document later conclusions, including disagreement, rather than rewriting the catalogue as though the answer had always been known.
