Check whether saturated costume colours fall outside a printer gamut
A print profile can warn when vivid source colours cannot be reproduced as-is.
Neon or very saturated garments can look vivid on a phone and muted on a small event print. A gamut warning helps locate the colours that need a proof or a deliberate mapping choice.
Use the matching output profile
A gamut warning compares source colours with a destination profile, such as a specific printer and media condition. It is meaningful only if that profile matches the actual output. A generic printer profile cannot certify an event printer’s colour range.

Inspect affected areas
Toggle the warning and check whether it falls on clothing, backdrop or skin. Make a proof print and compare supported rendering intents. The warning is a prompt for review, not a prediction that every flagged pixel will look equally wrong.

Preserve the vivid master
Keep the original wide-gamut image and create a destination-specific print copy. Avoid desaturating the source globally when only one garment is outside the printer gamut. Label the print conversion so later digital sharing uses the correct master.
