Inside the booth
Try a higher viewpoint for a small group
Test every face rather than only the person nearest the lens.
A higher camera can change how a group fits in the frame. Make it an option, while checking comfort, visibility and the support’s safety.
Arrange a real sample group
Use the expected number of people and the actual strip layout. Check the person at every edge as well as the centre. Avoid asking everyone to stretch upward uncomfortably. If the frame still excludes someone, change the camera distance or group arrangement instead of making the angle more extreme.
Keep the device secure
Use a suitable stable support and make adjustments safely. Do not balance a phone above people on a loose shelf or improvised stack. Keep cables out of the walking route. A viewpoint is worthwhile only if the equipment can remain secure during the session.
Read expressions and edges
Open the finished strip and check faces, hands and headwear across the sequence. Give guests the option of a simpler arrangement if the angle changes how they want to appear. Keep a source copy before cropping tighter, so the group can choose another layout later.
