Our eight booths
Flash ’96 — the Flashroom booth
Colour flash · Four good moments. The story, format and a few ways to make it your own.
Flash ’96 keeps the concept direct: colour, a countdown and four good moments. Its starting layout is the vertical strip.

An original Flashroom design. Era and city names are creative references, not claims about a historic machine.
The name and the product
This is one of Flashroom’s eight creative booth looks, rather than a digital restoration of a particular 1996 cabinet. A year can suggest a period without establishing the provenance of a photograph. We keep that distinction explicit in the library.
Get the people in before the timer
Check the outer faces in the preview. Move closer to the same camera distance for a balanced portrait. Keep large props out of the foreground until you know everyone is visible. One person can watch the countdown while the group holds its arrangement. The energy comes from changing expressions, rather than moving so much that people leave the frame.
A sequence for an ordinary meeting
Try a relaxed look, a shared glance, matching expressions and a laugh. Nothing special needs to have happened: a strip can simply mark that people were together. Save the complete composition before sharing a cropped frame. That preserves the sequence when you revisit it, while leaving you free to choose a single portrait for another use.
